hard things

I'm not going to lie. Sometimes the challenges I am called to bare in this life are difficult...and it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it is there. Some days it is hard to keep going, but I do. I've learned that I can do hard things. We all can. No matter what your trial may be...death, illness, infertility, loneliness...we can do it. We just keep going. One foot in front of the other, many a nights on your knees in prayer. I know God hears us. He knows us. He helps us. We are not alone. He knows we can do hard things...and I know to.

One foot in front of the other is my motto, too. Chin up, even through tear and smiles. I have no idea why God gave us cancer, sweet lady, and I agree that it is a gift. You never live life as hard as you do when it's threatened!

Live hard!

Thank you for sharing your blog. I linked to it from Natalie Norton's when she posted about you a while back. I just wanted you to know that you have impacted my life by sharing your blog and story. I especially LOVE this post because it is oh so true. Last year our stake RS had this same motto as we did a Stake Relief Society Traithlon here in Oregon. We were trying to prove to the woman that they could do hard things. It was AMAZING to see so many lives transformed, and also prove to the women that their bodies were stronger than they thought. I know it doesn't compare to the hard things you have faced and continue to, but the saying is so true. With God by our side, we can do OH SO MUCH! Our prayers are with you and your family!
